Lily of the Valley - Convallaria majalis Canvas Print

An enchanting ground cover with fragrant little bell flowers, lily-of-the-valley is lovely in the springtime. I painted these from the live plants that grow in my garden.

Using a combination of watercolors and colored pencil brings out the details in the tiny, white bells and lush, verdant leaves. ~J. Zeh

Hi, I'm Janet. I have been creating art ever since I could hold a crayon in my fist as a small child. Nothing with a flat surface was safe from my scribbling! When there was no paper available, I drew on the wallpaper, windowsills and even climbed up near the ceiling to try to hide the evidence. At age eight, I finally found an acceptable outlet for my desire to draw when my despairing parents booked lessons for me with a private tutor. Later, I studied art at Nazareth College of Rochester, Southern Connecticut State University and Rhode Island School of Design.
