One warm and sunny day in May, Ferdinand and Nina plant peas in the vegetable garden. Baby chicks love peas! Ferdinand plants the seeds and Nina waters them. They cannot wait for all the peas that will grow!

Janet Zeh

Hi, I'm Janet. I have been creating art ever since I could hold a crayon in my fist as a small child. Nothing with a flat surface was safe from my scribbling! When there was no paper available, I drew on the wallpaper, windowsills and even climbed up near the ceiling to try to hide the evidence. At age eight, I finally found an acceptable outlet for my desire to draw when my despairing parents booked lessons for me with a private tutor. Later, I studied art at Nazareth College of Rochester, Southern Connecticut State University and Rhode Island School of Design. Before painting professionally, I was a part-time free-lance illustrator in pen and ink and digital graphics for eighteen years while raising three sons. In 1994 I began...
