White hibiscus flowers with red centers glow in the summer sunlight! The deep blue background makes these flowers pop as the sun shines through the flower petals. The original painting was inspired by the flowers in my garden. I painted it in acrylic on canvas. ~Janet

Hi, I'm Janet. I have been creating art ever since I could hold a crayon in my fist as a small child. Nothing with a flat surface was safe from my scribbling! When there was no paper available, I drew on the wallpaper, windowsills and even climbed up near the ceiling to try to hide the evidence. At age eight, I finally found an acceptable outlet for my desire to draw when my despairing parents booked lessons for me with a private tutor. Later, I studied art at Nazareth College of Rochester, Southern Connecticut State University and Rhode Island School of Design.
